How much do you roughly spend on your novas a month? I mean buying things that u need /want? I carnt stop buying stuff and some stuff i dont even need lol. Last month spent around £350 on stuff but only cos a hybrid turbo came up at a good price lol.

I'm always buying stuff, I barely even use the ****in thing. It's a bad illness, I can't see nothing go past me and I make excuses in my head as to why I need that item at that moment. It's sad actually.

I don't look at receipts but I would say since I have bought it around 2k if not more! And I only needed to replace the turbo! But you always find something...

I have found so far its best not to add it up but I reason that once I have done the basics it shouldn't be to bad. also I found hiding the credit card bill or halving the cost tends to smooth things with the wife

I don't tend to spend much on the nova really as don't use it much, but my astra vxr and starlet turbo seem to suck money from the bank like a cheap hooker lol

Not as much as I would like to but I would say about £100 a month on nova related stuff i probably dont need or will never use but will soon be more when I get it ready for its m.o.t, insurance and tax to put it back on the road for summer

Before I got rid of my unfinished SR I spent a fair bit on it, the part I regret most is paying £800 for high comp pistons and steel rods, then having to put them on ebay and getting £400 back for them... Unused.

Reaaaaaallllllly want another one but I don't have anywhere to store it :(

Madness I would of kept them just out of principle, ive lost money on car parts and tools but not that much

Was a bit gutted but I was sh!t at ebay and had them ending late on a saturday night iirc, kinda regret buying them anyway as I was kidding myself thinking I could afford it at the time! Sad thing is I could afford to chuck some money at a car now but I don't have the storage, so just gonna save up for a daily.

It varies from one month to the next but I daren't add up what I have spent over the years. TBH, I have not spent a great deal on a lot of the bits I have and I bought them at the right time. Some parts have been an investment & I have made money on them. I try and sell unwanted stuff for the funds to buy what I want.

nope, it is i one large bit & the only cost its incurring is insurance....... but i have a cunning plan to actually get the damned thing back on the road soon..... (the plan does involve some concrete, roof sheets, and mugs of tea)

people with built cars will always spend less,i consider my build price different to when its complete,
currently im having my turbo relocated over my gearbox and a downpipe that will cost me £300, this is a cost i will not have to pay when its finished

when building you will spend more as you want this and want that but when built its more time cleaning and polishing and minor repairs

I am only spending £0 per month at the mo until I can get the missus meriva out of the garage and my nova back in to work on.
