Stupid Wiper Design Flaw

Well the drivers side wiper on my car has stopped working, i found this si due to the ball cup being knackered on the linkage to the passenger side. Anyways what do u think i shud do?
Get a new linkage arm? cost....? or a
Single Wiper Kit?

get a double one from a scrappy and then decide whether to have a 2 wiper linkage or mod it into a single one
