Slightly off-topic, but I'd be interested to know what people reckon the current value of a complete LET (standard) engine is?

It's for my own reference, nothing more.

Afaik, around the £1000 mark. That's with f28.

About the 1k mark now Colin in running condition although they are poping up cheap quite often lately but normally been to the moon and back

I'd say that was a little too cheap to include an f28.. A stock f28 will do £200-£275 on its own. A c20let will generally do around 1k with ancillaries but as ste says most have no history to back any claims up. I have seen tall engines go for £600/£700 so they are getting cheaper. One that has been rebuilt to a reasonable spec with proof will still command a good price of around £1500 though.
