dunno how accurate this is but I found it interesting

can check common mot fail faults before you decide on what car your buying next and know what to look for when you view

Interesting, 1984 cars having a 2.2% failure on body and structure, by the 1990 cars this is 5.5% and they also have other addition failures of suspension turrets etc. As I have always said, the production an design after the first few years became as most manufacturers do....giving the car a set lifespan

Crap really.

A 20 year old car that's been looked after will be in alot better condition than a 5 year old car that's been abused.

I've seen 53 plate cars needing half a chassis leg due to rust.

53 reg??? why not just say ford ka....... they make a nova look like its made from boiler plate lol

so cv joints are the biggy... and rear bearings get an honourable mention
