ok so my plan in is to use a c20xe in my nova for trackdays and back roads and wonderd is it worth baffling a c20xe alloy sump to try and stop oil starvation?

Just the same job but best braised rather than welded to prevent the heat distortion in the steel,

Local engineering shop told me they would tig weld either steel or alloy to my spec, not a huge job tbh

Wouldnt bother. If you look at how low the standard baffle plate sits. You may end up causing problems where oil cant return quick enough. Ive got a couple lads who sprint and looked into it and decided to leave standard baffle plate and one lad is in this months mini mag and been on god knows how many trackdays in 3/4 years with no issues.

I know it may help but as ive never had a problem id say not worth doing. On flip side if anyone can comment who has had oil surge/staravation then thats fair enough
