To begin with, apologies 4 what has happened, but let me tell u the situation.
I work 4 an internet firm all day, every day...so we get to surf the net a lot, anyway...i'm never off Novaload and the other guys at work are hardcore geeks and are always wanting their computer to go faster, and faster...so they are never off Overclockers' message boards...anyway...a guy who sits opposite me in the office thought it would be hillarious to ?invent? a nova on Over clockers. He thought that I?d go on there and say ?wow?someone with a top nova goes on Overclockers??
Anyway?the guy in the office sends me a link through email to the thread on Overclockers, where this ?invented? nova is. I thought he was being helpful (because he knows I am into my nova?s) but after closer inspection, I found out that he had written the post, and that he had also signed up in my name.
At first I laughed cos I thought it was pretty funny?(this was before he started uploading pics)..anyway?someone replied to the thread on Overclockers saying ?prove it?show us some pictures??.at this point I asked the guy in the office how he was going to get out of this one.
Because Roy Bacer is hosted by the company where I work, all usernames and passwords can be accessed by anyone in the offices. (hence the pictures being on the back end of my site). This guy knew that I went on Novaload all the time, so he found the nicest nova, copied the pictures across to his machine and uploaded them on to the back of roy bacer.
A couple of hours later he emailed me saying ?have a look on Overclockers at that message I posted??so I did?.to find the twat had put pictures on my domain name and nicked pictures from the site I always go on?
I bollocked him saying that people would assume it was me and kick me off Novaload (which is the last thing I want to happen, cos everyone on there is sorted)?Novaboy was the first person to spot what was going on?so I replied to him personally telling him what was going on (ask him if u don?t believe me)?
Even though it was out of my hands, I apologise for what has happened and I can assure u that the twat of a colleague of mine will NEVER do anything like that again (I complained to my boss, gave the guy a bollocking and ran a key down the side of his nice new Mondeo, which made me feel a lot better)
If the guy does it again he could loose his job (because he has accessed confidential information and broken a data protection law or summit like that)
