c16se plug ? what is this plug picture in thread

got this plug in a conversion I am doing but the car its coming from and the car I am putting it in doesn't have this connection - it seems the red wire goes straight to the positive on the battery terminal and the black I cant trace? it goes further into the loom- where does the black go/do?? cant be an earth can it?

switched live? Test it with a multimeter

ah I cant do that now I have taken the rest of the engine loom out currently... oops.

it looks that way I am guessing the red wire feed to the terminal would be permanent live and the black feeds back to switched live- so im guessing I have to find the switched live wire in my loom and just solder/connect the switched live and it should work?

Switched live on a nova is on the coil (black wire). Yes, providing you've wired everything else up?
