Floor Grommet Flange

Hi,

Anyone know the diameter of the floor bung grommets seats? The indented section where the grommets fit in. Thinking of riveting aluminium discs to plug them on my road rally shell rather than weld steel discs.

Use marine grade sika flex going nowhere with that stuff

I was thinking of 2 or 3 rivets then seam sealer from the underside when I do all the other seams. How big is the flat circular bit around the hole though?

if your talking about the drain hole grommet fits, they are 34mm.

I wouldnt advise pop riveting alloy to steel as it can cause dissimilar metal corrosion. especially as the gromet holes are usualy the dampest part of the nova.
