as above who owns the car now, were has it been , ive been offered a swap for it but something dont seem right to me, whats the reg check thing etc say about the car, owners, milage etc, been told it now has a full service history when it didnt before with a genuine 28.000 on the clocks.. please help..

The guy that's selling it is quite blatantly a dreaming little **** tbh. If it was genuine they'd have recent pics and it wouldn't be a 16yo selling it on behalf of his dad? Because obviously in his -1 years of driving he's bought and sold a lot of cars and knows what he's doing?? (And I'm aware there are members on here that were messing around with novas long before they could drive but they've got a bit more clout between the ears than someone on facebook claiming to own a car with no evidence)

Shows as 5 previous keepers, and a White Vauxhall Nova 1.3 SR registered on 1/8/1987. I don't recall it ever having only 28k on when Brett had it? (but I may be wrong)

Sure I've seen it a few times for sale on facebook. Once with no engine, then with non running engine. Never really paid much attention to the ads Tbh.

Probably best asking around on vauxsausage on facebook as most members on there are around newcastle/durham area.

There really are some idiots out there - why would anyone waste their time trying to sell a car they didn't own and then allow a potential buyer to travel half way up the country in good faith?! I thought I read the owner was in Scotland and worked on oil rigs so it spent a lot of time parked in a garage; but could have moved on since then (if of course I am remembering correctly).
