coffee - mostly because there are so many varieties of it that most people can find one that they will like.

and because it has kept me awake many many many times in various formats.

i dont believe for one minute there are more tea's than coffee's Alex... afraid you're gonna have to prove it.

I have found this...

There are a vast quantity of tea varieties, however this number does not even nearly compare to the number of coffee's.

So there you have it... go on... disprove me.

:D

can't find figures about coffee varieties though i can't see coffee beating this

Today, there are more than 3000 varieties of tea, each having its own distinct
character and named for the district or region in which it is grown

I believe that coffee is drunk more often, but has less varieties.

and just for info

tea compiles a longer list of health benefits than coffee

although

Coffee is the second-most traded commodity in the world economy, after oil.

Either way i really dont care as i drink neither

More popular doesnt mean nicer...as we just proved.

Why is that whenever someone posts something, 80% of the time someone has to point out that its been posted b4?!?

is it a crime, how the heeeeellllll wud i know that sumthing was done b4 3 years ago. looks at my posts :o not 2 many.

so there! :P

all new members should swear an oath of allegiance and be made to read every singe post to date before they post anything.

in fact - i may start work on a way to enforce that immediately.

Whats that catchphrase "more tea vicar?" from?

I prefer tea as it has a more refreshing way about it. But i like tea with sugar, but i cant drink coffee with sugar. I like them both loads, but tea just wins it for me.

Both are a waste of time, better of with Lager, usually about 10-12 pints of the stuff, then about a dozen double vodkas, then a pizza on the way home.

No wonder I'm such a fat b*****d

TEA PLEASE....

Tea is better for you than coffee, tea contains anti-oxidants
which help eliminate free radicals in your body (free radicals can cause cancer), you can benefit from tea as long as you drink 3-4 cups of tea a day.

Coffee on the other hand is a diuretic, it dehydrates the body,
can contain upto 4-5 times as much caffeine as tea, if drunk in excess
can weaken the heart.
