Just a quick question bought a redtop the other day but not sure if it the old type or new type has hh5 on the block of anyone can tell me from that? Cheers

The hh5 is a development number for the block they range from hh1 to hh9 it changed everytime the block was further developed there are also some stamped hg1 to hg 4 which if I remember right are later blocks. Although its irrelivant as blocks and heads were mass produced and mixed about.

No Idea mate as it just a bare engine it looks like it may of had a dizzy in it as there is no plate over the end if the cam
