BHP For 1.2carb & 1.2i

Just wondering what the bhp is for the two cars, as ive got a 1.2carb and my mate has a 1.2i just wanted to know if they if any difference between them :?: or and while im here whats should the top end be and the 0-60 times if any1 no's :)

1.2i has 45bhp
1.2 has more than that

1.2i 45bhp at the fly when new and standard

1.2 carb 55bhp at the fly when new and standard

you can easily minus 5bhp off both of these with age and high milers these days ;)

a 12Nv has 53bhp

the other 1200 carbs have 55bhp lol

as for 0-60 about a week with written notice :D

0-60 just under 13 sec for a 1.2i
although there is ten bhp difference between the models apparently they are the same performance wise. although you'll get more mpg with a 1.2i

besides a standard 1ltr has 45bhp the same as the 1.2i but the 1.2i is a dam sight faster

oh, im proud of my previous 1.2spi engine with oil coming out of everywhere. It sounded nice, but that was it.

1.2i's are good to build up insurance ncbs.

how come if the carb model is faster on a 1.2 but an sri is faster than an sr (1.4 models)??

while we're on the subject...........would a filter and, for instance :wink: , cat back exhaust system bring the 1.2spi up to carb power?

i had a green induction kit, de-cat pipe and performance backbox on and i believe that it gave me better perfomance. not 10bhp though :o
