View Full Version : Rubber bungs!
Doed anyone know where you can get the rubber bungs that fill the holes in the spare wheel well? Im missing 4 but dont know where to start looking
Duct tape ftw, you only need something to cover the hole to stop water ingress :thumb:
Has anyone else welded these up? I nearly broke my wrist using a holesaw to cut little round plates to weld in. Didn't want a hole in the middle so it was f***ing aggressive in the pillar drill lol
Am I right in thinking Corsas and suchlike also used them too..? Might be worth a few minutes in the local scrapyard.

Get some wood/ply drill that out then take out the center drill bit and clamp ply to steel plate and use ply as a guide in the pillar drill simples

Correct, I pulled several out of Corsas and Astras at the scrapyard. Around the same era are the same, and in some locations aren't covered in underseal and overspray.

Little metal discs were part of the Grp-A chassis kit, used for welding the holes over.
