Xe chapping top end

Fitted an xe into my nova saloon only thing is top end sounds chapping I've not idea what's causing this? It's got plenty of oil in it

Its very common on the c20xe the lifters always stick either clean them out or replace them.

Chap ping or tapping? Lol. It's normal for them to do it from cold. As long as they shut up after a blast, it's not to worry about...
