Had my nova nearly 2 weeks as most of you know. But I have found the head lights don't seem that bright? Is it just a case of change the bulbs to slightly brighter ones??? Dont wanna go to bright as it wont be legal no??

Nova headlights are pish, thats about it really,
You could upgrade to 75/100 bulbs which would help a bit or try an eye test?

I am blind anyway, but not that blind lol. Ye I should take the ones that are in it out to check what they are first. Its defo not a elec problem, as the rest of the lights seem bright enough, and dont flicker at all. Inertia light is dim tho, but i remember them like on my first nova years and years ago!!! :(

Also check the reflectors are clean and in good condition. Higher power bulbs can be better but for proper potential most will need their own loom making up. Avoid the white/blue bulbs as the higher the colour temperature, the less usable light you'll get.

Osram Nightbreaker are quite good, reasonably priced too. PIAA are the best IMO but very expensive.

I always run Osram Nightbreaker Plus+ in all of my cars. £12 for a pair of bulbs on Fleabay

Running ring xenon bulbs £15 pound a pair, not too bad really bright bulbs. Or if that isn't enough install HIDs

I fitted 7" spotlights with 100w bulbs which helps on unlit roads.

I use Ring Ice white bulbs. They are 80w bulbs so give more light than the std 55w. Alot better light for the driver, but not over bright for the on coming car..
Cost £10 a pair.
