you'll need
Fuel tank+pump
engine, box, loom, ecu, airflow meter

you should be able to use your 1.2 exhaust system, but it will be restritive

GTE suspension will fit and with this on it will handle exactly the same as the gte

at least put the gte breaks (disks, callipers and servo) on the mk2, or better still get some 16v ones

Anti roll bars - big debate over whether these are good or not

can't think of anything else right now

u may aswell do the servo as it's an easy job and uve got it there ready. basically fit evrithin from the gte engine bay to ur 1.2.
then ull need engine loom, ecu loom
gte fuel tank, pump, ecu use the gear box from the gte altho u could use the 1.2 1 but the gte will b better. drive shafts won't make a difference either way and id say sell the gte shafts as most peeps want them for valver conversions so u can make a bit cash
shox springs easy job thro them on
exhaust system thro the gte 1 on it's bout half hour job

I changed my 4 speed 1.2 carb nova to a 1.6i GTE 5 speed f*cker! Well worth doing.

The things i used were:-

GTE Engine and Gearbox (obviously)
GTE Fuel Tank
GTE External injection pump
GTE Fuel Lines
I used the GTE driveshafts because the longer driveshaft had a torsional weight on it
GTE Radiator
GTE exhaust with a Peco BB2 back box
GTE ECU
I needed to put the extra wiring in for the ECU and fuel pump
GTE 6 clock instrument panel

Im using 2.0L 16v Astra GTE front brakes with a 1.2 brake servo

Im using a full gmax suspension kit (springs and shocks)

I didnt put the GTE anti-roll bars on because people say that it makes the handling worse, i dont know whether this is true or not.

definately use the anti roll bars they'll make a huge difference as they'll help tighten up the handling. the only time the anti roll bars aren't used is when ur fitting 2 litre or big engines as theres a lot of extra weight over the front end and the rollbars cause handling issues due to weight displacement during driving and cornering
