Fitting new camshaft

Hi what oil do people cover a new camshaft in before fitting? Thanks dan

I use 15/40 semi synthetic as a build lube when ive done engines in the past wit no problems

ive got a tub of this, think it mite be a bit over kill but never had a problem

if its a dry build then what phillip said.
If its just a swap then the engine oil whats in the engine is fine. *that doesn't mean drain the sump into ya hand a bit and spiderman it onto the cam btw lol
