Why dont you just do as most have and ring it into a clean car and sell it on ebay as genuine for 4k lol

Can you weld or have you a mate who can weld? It is possible but will be some work although might be less wor than buying another shell, do repairs and then reshelling.

Oh ok.... as marc said probably a good idea to find a base model nova and swap everything over. Finding another Gsi that requires minimal work will come at a price and like hen's teeth.. Think the roads have been gritted now so that's my nova tucked up for winter, bought a load of new parts for it to fit and get ready for next year!

At this stage in any Nova's life (minimum of 20 years old) finding anything other than a base model is great condition is going to be very very difficult or very very expensive. The only clean shells left are old grandad owned base models that have been in a garage all their life and only used for the local shop run.

That's not to say finding a nice base model shell is going to be easy by any means! You are in the right place for it though, I picked up my near-mint 1.2i base model shell off here about 4 months ago.

Yeah home Sunday so I will get this Christmas shopping sh*t out the way....then get going fitting my new parts to the car lol Where about did you get it from? usually know most of the Nova's in the area. You know of a guy called paul from buckie with a nova? never seen it about but saw a picture of it.

Try scorge or baz they may know of a nova somewhere...
