X16XE Airbox in a nova

Does the airbox from an X16XE go into a nova or do you have to have an induction kit.

Im Pretty sure Steve Porter had one he modified the bottom section of the air box so it would sit in the nova engine bay.
Basically, cout tge bottom half down and re glued it on to make it shallower.

I did it once and it did the job and looked factory fresh, but you have to cut away about half
The box as Scott said and you need a glue gun and a flat piece of 3mm plastic to make a
New bottom.

Sounds interesting guys its going in a track car doesnt need to look really nice tbh think i will just go for an enclosed induction kit thanks for the replies :)

Iiam has done one in his nova and has all th pics up in his thread

You'd be far better using an aftermarket plenum and a cone filter
