inner track arm/rack end problem.

Hi, replaced my inner track arm today on my nova let due to excessive play, I noticed after removing it that the replacement one was a bit longer but thought nothing of it at the time. Now the problem I have is that with the track rod end fully wound on as far as it will go the wheel points inwards. Anyone ever heard of this before? I was going to attempt to cut it down to the length of the original but thought I would check on here first.

anybody got any ideas whats going on? Cheap replacement part? Maybe they are differeny lengths on each side and I have fitted wrong one?

Its for a Corsa B, either swap for a Nova one or cut it down
