Does anyone have have any experiance with a kent ast18 cam ? Looking to fit tl 16 8v engine

I assume you have a suitable intake system (carbs or mappable injection) to go with.

looks like a slightly more aggressive piper bp300 which works well. Only mild issue to check is that the max valve lift won't foul the stem seals etc

Ye will be running twin 40's with 16v botton end, will have to check on piston to valve clearance as well , the engine is going Into a rallycar

Piston clearence is usually fine, I found there is atleast 5mm of lift available at tdc if you have a mental cam. Its just the peak lift might need machining for etc.

Where do you think might need machining? Spring seat?

Possibly and also the guide height might need a tweak. Sadly its a case of try it and see.

Thanks for the info , I knowits kind of a hard q to answer but what kind of gains could be expected with it ? C14 se head, twin 40s,4 branch??
