4 speed to 5 speed box upgrade?

Hi, spent a while trawling through posts on the search function but not found any definitive answers.

Ive a 1.2 8v merit, and will be fitting an F15cr box, will the gearstick need any modifications to get 5th?

Need to cut the lump off to be able to engage 5th, have a look under the rubber gaitor

what method of driving the speedo are you using? or are you fitting the f15 innards to the f10 box?

Thought early F15's had mechanical drive for the speedo.

It has a mechanical drive, which reminds me I need the white plastic drive that the cable attaches to. Had to borrow it for another project.
