hi can anyone tell me if they have fitted twin 40,s to a redtop and dropped it into a nova? if so how much work is involved and could anyone send me any pics? I am wondering if theres enough room between engine and bulkhead really to fit everything in. cheers andy
Go for 45s especially if plan on any further engine work. 40s will be just 'ok' on a 20xe.

I fitted 40's to my xe purely because I already had them. For me its got plenty of poke. Really I should get some sort of diff in it as it just lights up the tyres too much costing time. There were a few mods I carried out;
Lowering the alternator mount by about an inch with a plate (simple).
Modified the top sliding bracket of the alternator. It just had to be a bit longer as the alternator is lower.
The inner wing needs to be modified for the alternator to fit in.
The engine is cammed and runs a Canems ignition ECU setup on a standard CR F20.
Give me buzz if I can be of help.
