As title peeps, after much soul searching ive decided to sell my nova, its not a decision ive come to easily, but i just dont use it anymore, and rather than let it sit around to rot away i want it to be used an appreciated!

So, here we go...

Low mileage (42,000 iirc) declared as a 2.0 16v on the logbook, so if thats a problem then go away!

Nova Antibes special edition, converted to xe, fully stitch welded engine bay with a complete harry hockly strengthening plate kit fitted, v6 front brakes and standard rears, very high mileage 1992 cavalier SRi c20xe fitted (cav had over 227,000 miles on when i broke it) tappets chatter from cold, then shut up completely once warm (i have a set in a tub of oil that i bought to replace them with, but havent got round to fitting them as i dont want to mess with the cambelt, but i was assured theyre gm and only 3000 miles old) engine has a full set of black roose motorsport hoses, complete with stainless clips.
Exhaust is a standard c20xe manifold with a new gasket and stud/nut set, cut and sleeved to the full powerflow exhaust system, the rear tip looks a little low as it was built for a GTE bumper which sits lower than the early one piece the Antibes has.
Engine passed emissions fine as it gets a non cat test (but i was also informed that it could pass the levels for a cat test with its emission level so the engine is breathing fine) engine had cambelt kit and waterpump replaced whilst it was still in the cavalier as i ran the cav for a few months before buying the nova.

Bay was repainted when the first engine went in when Andy had it, colourmatched to the proper antibes only regatta blue, ive also had the spark plug cover matched aswell, its had a recent oil and filter, and ive done plugs leads and coilpack, no misfire, no knocks or bangs or rattles or smoke!

Interior has the original blue carpet, i have the original blue seats in storage as i swapped the front and rears to colour correct (blue grey) mk2 SR interior, along with matching doorcards and working illuminated sunvisors.
It has six dial early SR/Sport clocks with everything working including eml and oil pressure gauge.
All glass is the correct early bronze tint, and it has a working tilt/slide sunroof which doesnt leak.

Exterior is predominantly standard with the only visual changes being the white trim stripe on the (early one piece) bumpers and white griffin badge on the bumper, and the 16" speedline alesio II alloy wheels, all five (yes there is a fifth as a spare) have tyres with excellent tread with the fronts being brand new.

Doors are perfect with zero rust and the drivers has the little oil/tyre pressue info sticker on it.

Has gm headlight protectors on the front with clear indicators, clear side repeaters and ive home tinted a set of clear rear lights to give red clusters and clear indicators (with yellow bulbs in all obviously)

The brakes are v6 discs and pads with no warping or run-off and both are in brilliant condition with plenty of miles left in them.

There is a brand new sony usb/mp3 only headunit in the car which is perfect fitment for a mk1 as its only a couple of inches deep having no cd player, which i may leave in dependant on selling price.

Suspension wise, it has fk blue coilovers up front, and spax adjustable rear dampers, and -70mm springs.

Bad points, yes there are a few unfortunately...

The tappets as mentioned but i have a set that will go with the car.
The drivers engine mount has seen better days, i have a new one in a box that will go with the car too.
There is a small blow from the front of the exhaust near the join (i think) which isnt overly loud so ive not done anything with it yet.

And finally, body issues..

There is a dent on the bonnet directly above the under bracing, looks like a golf ball fell from the moon or something, hasnt really bothered me, but its there.
The old front tyres had a more upright tyre wall and so in the first couple of hundred miles on bumps there was tyre/wing contact, this has pushed off a small section of paint on the uppermost section of the wing lip.
The sills, whilst still sold, are stone chipped and the paint has cracked/come off and as a result look scabby.
Rear arch lips, again, tyre contact combined with being 27 years old, have caused the paint to crack and come off so again, they look scabby too, theyre still solid though, and imo the car is certainly not rotten, but its not quite as tidy as the camera would have you believe.

Im not trying to paint a picture of the car being a rotbox by any means, im merely being honest (a lot of you have seen the car this year at billing, it is exactly the same, no worse, no better)

The car has tax and mot, mot is till april time next year, and the tax is till the end of december.

It also has two keys, two chip keys for the touch key imobilliser, and a fuelpump cutoff switch.

It is located in Hull, East Yorkshire, price is £2250

Thankyou for looking, and i hope it goes to someone who will love it the way i used to, it never ceases to make me smile, but ive had a van driving job for a few years now, and it has slowly put me off driving, hence now the nova just doesnt get used anymore!

No test drives will be allowed without proof of insurance cover, and payment in full left beforehand, you crash it on test drive, you have bought it!

The rideheight difference on the two wheelarch pics is due to being parked on uneven ground (oops)

Bump for the weekend, it had a small fuel leak this morning, left it at home, so the one time i was actually going to use it, it stayed at home lol

Leak now fixed btw, was the join of the supply hose in the bay had worked loose, not something i wanted to poke into when i was supposed to be leaving for work, so i took my van instead, its a shame seeing it sitting there so come on, someone must want her :d

Because my job has put me right off driving, and it never gets used anymore, if i had a garage to store it in, i wouldve put it in there and it wouldve gotten forgotten about for god knows how long!

The car is wasted sitting there under its cover, perm flat battery and doing bugger all, when im not working im out riding, got right back into biking, so this is the best thing for the car, plus the sale will fix my messed up finances and save me money next year, im happy its gone, but it doesnt mean it wasnt heartbreaking watching it drive away!
