Hi all I am thinking of replacing my f20 for an f28 in my nova and was just woundering if there is a big differance between and f28 with a diff and one without is it worth while me waiting and saving or should I just go for the standard f28

Thanks
Paul

The f28 is identical (ish) in terms of ratios - it just has an extra gear. Its also obvioulsy stronger and can take more torque. It weighs almost double an f20 though lol

Why the change required ?

Because I have been told the f20 can handle the power abd more than likely blow. I also want a lsd diff for more grip but don't no if the are worth it

I know tons of lads who were going to sell up because grip was ****e. Fitted an atb diff and loved the cars again. They make a huge difference.

what engine have you got fitted? if you got the dough then get a diff, even if you fitted it to the f20, im sure it can be fitted into an f28 later with some shims??
