Gearbox help.

I have a f19 I think out of a gsi Astra,
it don't have a hole for my speedo cable just a blank plate, can I fit one from a either smaller box or does it have to be from a bag box

More to the point it wont have a speedo ring drive on the diff so even if you do fit a speedo cable it will have nothing in the box to drive it

Are they swop a able off small gear box ?

Aye but it means removing the diff to fit it
