Hello everyone, basically my insurance is up for renewal at the start of November and my insurance company can't give me a automatic renewal for some unknown reason. I've been on go compare and the cheapest price I've been quoted is just over £800 compared to last year when I payed half the price of that. I'm thinking about moving to an insurance company that specialises in modified cars but I'm only 20 and unsure of if they would be able to give me a decent quote as most only offer their services to people aged 21 and over. Any information on this would be appreciated and recommended insurance companies would also be helpful. I'm 20 years old, female, own fairly heavily modded nova (nothing engine wise yet however a conversion is on the cards so that will need to be taken in to account), have had my licence 2 years and have 2 years ncb.

Like i said, any help and information would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just use the price comparison websites for mine as I never got much discount using a modified car policy when I was your age

Put your parents on and see if that helps. Where is it parked overnight? Sometimes cheaper if its parked on the street instead of a driveway. Try different options :thumb:

Define 'heavily modified'?

With 2yrs NCB and no performance mods you should be paying sod all really.

Define 'heavily modified'?

I wondered that, as that's what i class mine as... lol
