Hi
Im taking the nova round Brands on Tuesday. At the moment my ET35 alloys run 195/50/R15 Toyo proxes that are no older than a year, they have loads of fresh and soft tread. However, under hard cornering the tyres catch on the arches.
Ive also got a set of MO's that have Yoko A539 195/45/R15's on them, that are a more arch friendly ET49. Two of these Yokos have enough tread left on them, the other two are down to the wear indicators. All four of the Yokos are hard where they're old.
My question is this; I'll use the MO alloys, but which tyres do I use?
If I stick with the Yoko's I can use them up and throw them away and it won't cost me to have the Toyo's swapped over to the MO alloys.
However, if the compound is too hard, will they be useless? Or will they soon soften up once they have some heat in them?
Or should I just swap the Toyo's onto the MO's right now and be done with it?
Whatever I do, I need to get this sorted today ideally, so opinions urgently required please guys!
