I recently brought a c reg red nova 1.2 from my local scrap yard as they got a asked to remove it because the keys had been lost. so they have bent drivers door open and damaged locks trying to get in it, they've also jabbed the fuel tank to drain it. I've got the logbook with it and the good bit is 2 owners from new and got 16,000 on the clock and look genuine by its condition. its got two stamps in the service book at 9000 in 91 and 12,000 in 95 and I've look on the online mot history, other than in the last year or two it had only done 20 odd miles each year from I think 2006 to 2010 it needs door wing valance sill and a rear arch. its seems to be genuine because steering wheel gear stick and pedals are just some of the parts that look like they done that many miles. but I brought to do up and drive but thinking of breaking because of the rare parts on it or I may just sell as it is I just don't know what it's worth I will post some pictures in a minute to see what you guys think

It looks genuine, But not really relevant as there's not much call for a concourse base model.

If the shell is good I would personally break it, then sell it bare / rolling.

Seems a shame to break a complete early original, someone who is handy with a welder might want an original one and sort the bits that need sorting, it doesn't look that bad.

that's what I was thinking it just needs panels really underneath has got a little surface rust but a really solid car for being 27 years old ive got door and wings for it just needs arch sill and valance really but really unsure what its worth

I'm not sure, you might get more, have a look on ebay, you'll see similar.

The trouble is though that with no T&T, and needing the sort of work which is above and beyond the average enthusiast it can only really be valued as a clean shell.

Some may be willing to pay more, some less, but to you, financially the best option you have is to strip the best bits off it and sell the shell to the oval community.

I'd keep it, perfect base for a decent project

I would rather scrap it than sell it to a certain community :d

Previous owner thought the same..... but it still ended up here.

If u break although u may make more ,thats another half decent original nova lost! The old girls found you for a reason so i say keep or sell on to fellow enthusiast :)
