DIY xe head porting

rebuilding my xe before it goes back in the fez and want to do some porting on the head. will be getting some cams for it to. any of you done yours before? any tips? any good online reads before i take it on?

Philips ure man mate he's only in flint North wales but not worth doing just the head, inlet wants doing aswell to match pretty laborious job takes a fair few hours with a rotary burr I think it's called get them from engineer supplies. Where about in Southport are you

Ive put tons of pics up over the years, ill see if can find the threads for you to nose at. I use combination of carbide burrs, drum rolls, cartridge rolls, flap wheels and emery. Not cheap either. 2 burrs have just code me £95, cartridge roll sets 45+ then the flap wheels etc all add up

If you dont know what you're doing then dont bother. Clean the dangel berries from behind the valve seats and blent the seat into the head, nothing more. you will do more harm than good otherwise.

just by town centre of southport mate. yeah get some pics phillip. wouldnt mind giving it a go see what i can do. obviosy not expecting results like you would get from a proper one but like having a go and can put that money towards other things
