View Full Version : Concours/Very Very Good Nova
Anything considered, a few of you will know about this already.
I think ideally i'd want a Sport or GSi/GTE,, restored or is near enough perfect. May consider a decent XE/LET.
I have the "right" amount of money to be able to spend. Its not £2000 thats for sure.
Anything available please let me know,
syep2001@live.co.uk
Thanks
Simon

Thanks for the link, i'm wanting better than that really. Bodywork rust isn't really what i'm wanting.
You're better off getting something that needs a little touch up, as long as it's an honest car... Most of the 'mint' cars have been painted 25 times and usually fall to bits aftaer a while lol
ypu already know all this though, just a hrs up that the wait may be a long one!

That's right Will, true. It would need to be a "known" one or documented to show condition before or after.
Thanks for the pointer...I may have a lead...!

Ha it's easily once a day now!
Have a few leads and some ideas, but hopefully the perfect car will come!

knowing your budget and how particular you are with what you want I don't think it will! Theirs simply not enough of them around anymore in the condition or spec you desire mate. And as said previously prices are only going to go one way too.
Nick.
I know mate...
Slowly steering towards a project.

Does look well, not your old one is it si? As it's not too far from me I'd gladly go with you to take a look if you like. You could also view 1/2 others on route? ;)
Nick.
Yes it is Simons old SR the one I had after him.
I sold it to a guy from ripon North Yorkshire
Not sure if this is the same guy selling it now?
The nova looking at the mileage hasn't been used at all
Since I sold it and is in really good condition.
But it has been welded and been fully resprayed.
New rear arches and I think it had a rear panel as well.
But it was all done to a high standard by the guy who
Had it before simon.
Not sure on the price, bit high
Stu
Yep my old one.
Have set the chap straight on what it has had done.
Was and is a very clean SR.
Not tempted at that price - I sold it for half that.
Wish I'd sold it for that price!
Indeed - hate misleading adverts, when I bought it in the advert he had said what was done. Just daft, anyone paying that much will know what they're looking at!
still looking, Sports, GSi, GTE hit me!
Had some disappointing results lately, so still looking.
I may be slimming my search down to a Sport ideally and increasing my budget if needed (but not to 10k!!!)
