View Full Version : Another rear disc conversion query--- sorry guys!

Hello,

I have searched all the other rear disc threads but havent found any references to the hubs that should be used for a vw conversion.

So just to clarify - If using the pro-tec brackets then the nova stub axle bolts on with the bracket sandwiched between the stub and the axle itself. So the question is this: do i also need the VW rear hubs AND discs?

I've seen it done with 2lt mk4 Golf hubs. You'll need the hub/disc and caliper.

Have you got it all yet? If not i'd use the Corsa C route..

True, but with such easy fitment. You'd be crazy not too.

Yep, ive ordered the bracket/spacer kit from pro-tec and im meeting a guy from ebay this weekend to get some mk4 calipers and hubs. All i need is some discs then. Going to clean up my rear beam this weekend and take it to the powder coaters before i rebuild it with the conversion and polybushes and group A bilsteins....
