That was only a mess about it couldn't cut my bonnet have the external wastgate routed to the ground in the drivers inner wheel arch area

It is a waste gate Benn not a BOV,

@ Turbo-boy, May be a good idea to add a brace / support to the waste gate as it looks like a fair amount of weight hanging off that 2 bolt flange.

Looks awesome mate, good work, your going to get an awful lot of heat soak with having the turbo and manifold so close to the radiator though, how much of a gap have you got between them?

thanks lads, boffer , there is the same room as there was with the kkk turbo fitted i can slide my hand between turbo and the rad, im going to be fitting a turbo heat sheild jacket aswell to help keep the engine bay temps down but this is hard in a nova turbo bay,
so today i had a free 30 mins and cleaned down my new oil cooler setup from a z20let that i will be fitting over the xmas period

Well havnt been on in a while as I have been pissed of with the nova, I had noticed that my seam sealer was starting to get lots of small cracks in it, so further investigation lead to being sold out of date seam sealer at the time I was prepping the bay so I had to remove the engine and everything and get it down to bare metal again

Thanks been it hard to believe it all fits behind the bumper full custom job but I like modding things hopefully be back up running in a few days have a new wideband to fit and a knock link to fit aswell to check for engine knock, set of vxr injectors and my water/meth kit then it's of the the rollers to see what it's putting out

Had to extend the air flow meter plug as the afm is at the other side of the bay, also heat insulated the wiring that runs alot the front panel

Well have been of work past few days and have got the car up and running, had to change my cooling fan to a smaller one as space was an issue.

It's a standalone know detecting device, no I no what knock sounds like but this will pick it up alot sooner then I will and can tweak it so that there isn't any knock

well repainted my covers to freshen up the bay looks nice and clean now and loving all the space i have on the drivers inner wing now.
i also put another set of speedline on the car with 40 profile tyres,i need to lower the back of the car abit more now

It's a upgrade 6 bolt flange skyline turbo, it's not as laggy as I was expecting to be honest I have it running low boost at the minute while I do some miles on it them will get it set up,,
I got a new water bottle of Germany ebay but it came damaged so still looking for a cleaner bottle

I'm pretty sure I have 60mm rears in it at the moment but it should be lower than that, the pic makes it look worse than it is because drive way isn't level

well hadthecarout yesterday running 16 psi and i must say its a complete animal now and the lag isnt bad either, firstly had it running 18psi but had traction issues in 4th gear,here a fewpicsi took wheni bumped into a friend out in his mint gsi

Well this happened tonight turbo gasket blew to streds, getting a solid stainless gasket now

Dont fit a gasket use bolt them up together. I went through loads of gaskets untill some ne told me not to use one and its been perfect since

I took all my gaskets of my wastgate setup as the blew within about 20 miles now the turbo after 100, got a solid garrett gasket for it so will try that and if it goes again I'll not run any

Well took the manifold out and here is a picture of the gasket, I'm gonna get manifold skimmed again and use the stainless gasket got and see how it goes for me
