View Full Version : hub to ball joint pins
Where can I get the nut/bolt that holds the pinch where the ball joint meets the hub?
Thanks

From a corsa b ??
Still get them from Vauxhall, you might need to buy a pack but they'll always be handy.
Corsa ones are longer and wider iirc.
Went to the scrappy to get one on sunday, so rusted on that I thought it would be pointless. I'll try vauxhall in Aberdeen but 5 years ago when I last asked them for anything Nova based I got the computer says no to Novas full stop answer.
bolt 90538685
nut 90538686
use this website to find the part no.s

ps. corsa b ones are the same, i just looked them up
Thanks so can I only get these bolts and nuts (with part numbers) from vauxhall?
They might be more helpful if I ask them for corsa b ones lol

Oh, thought someone tried Corsa ones to Nova ones and there where longer, ah well. Great info dude.

benn, the pt no.s superceded twice on the page... its actually described on there as an alternator bolt m8x45
I bought a few of these recently from vauxhall to keep as spares..and mowgli is correct, they were invoiced as alternator bolts.
Ok, I'll try vauxhall tomorrow, how much did they take?

I think they were two quid a bolt.

Just been, two quid a bolt and two quid a nut, on order....also got the usual response when I mentioned Nova then said the part is also on a corsa, do you want the part nummbers?
Thanks for everyone's help, I think this is why I am getting a knocking sound, the original bolt thread is stripped causing movement.
