Just bought this a couple weeks ago.
Needs a new carb and cv joints. But thanks to boyd_1989 I got a carb to be fitted now just need to find some cv joints.
The cars is pretty clean, only 55000 miles. Think it's got alot of potential. Here's some pictures

Bargain, and it looks ultra cool being standard, left like that you will be spoken to at every filling station by admirers on how rare a car it is.

What engine and so on?

It's 1.2 merit, the lack of a stereo sucks if im honest.
Think the car has loads potential but I kinda like it as it is. Those skiny tires really don't grip tho.
Were the saloons limited production?
There doesn't seem to be many around

I'll easily give you a stereo for the coin tray.......you'll get some pennies for the coin tray, a bit of a wanted item.
The 145 tyres are okish, I use these on my 1.0 and 1.2 Some had 135s which are rubbish. When you next buy tyres, ask if 155s or even 165s can fit on those rims, I think they can. The standard tyres for my SR are michelim 165/70 and are pretty grippy whilst still looking standardish and giving comfort.
2 door saloons were sold from 1983 to 1990 in UK but at the time the saloons were not very popular, however, they have in recent years become desirable by some and as the 2 door is rarer than the 4 door..
