Mk1 wiper stalk

Are these prone to buggering they're switches up as my wipers stay on constantly or do I need to trace a wiring issue ?

I would try a stalk from a scrappy. If you cant get a nova one corsa ones fit. I think cav ones to too but and longer

Unplug it and it should stop.

it could be the relay or the park switch might be buggered which will mean either a repair or swap the motor.

I've unplugged it but I will continue to tinker good to know corsa ones fit as I can't see me struggling to find one , cheers guys
