0-60 times

What's the quickest 0-60 times any of You have ever actually seen with proper timing gear (Santa pod etc..) for a Vauxhall Nova? :?:

I think Isaac Hunts nova went the quickets down the strip on Sunday- was about 12.49 for the 1/4 mile. there is a thread on here somewhere about it.

Santa Pod is a 1/4 mile strip only. As far as I know they don't do 0-60 times. Trax (which is coming up soon) has 0-60 runs and I'm sure there will be a few people from the site that will be trying to see how fast there car is.

Saw that blue GSi withg chromed speedlines 2.0 16v Turbo run 5.15 on sunday. And the 1.4 16v on TB's Nova did 6.02

blue gsi? no mate that was an sr lol. along time ago when it was standard. thats mark beastons, and the 1.4 is CP's. the boost beast from EDS did 2.83s.

I really didnt wanna spend an hour in the q for the 0-60 at Trax cos i dont rate my car as a 0-60 weapon - corners are my thang but i realised that the EDS was in it so i joined in so as i could have a looksee. :lol:

Anyways I got stoopid wheel spin and thought my run was a bit shit really and on the basis of that i reckon that:

Dan could do sub 6 maybe 5.75ish?
Chris T could do sub 5.5 if not better?

But of course they need to get off their arses and have a go :P :lol:
