hi guys just put in a 13sb engine but cant remember where all the wires go. all i need to know is where do the 5 wires on the back of the engine go?
and i have a plug on the ignition coil with 2 cut wires one red and one black?
i know...
red/black - goes to starter
blue? - goes to crank sensor
unsure of the colours for alternator, temp sensor and not idea what the last one is for i think its black/yellow?
any help would be great thanks guys

Blue is temp so goes on little sensor by front pipe
Black/red starter
Blue white is alternator
Brown white is oil pressure I think
Green is rev counter and goes to coil
as above.its not brown and white tho iirc its blue and green?
dont anybody read wiring diagrams in haynes anymore btw??

Blue with yellow tracer is for the oil pressure switch.
Haynes wiring diagrams are excellent so make good use of them.

Yes Haynes bible read but it's all to much for some people and its been a while on the wire colors so not to far off plus only 1 wire left what ever color

Sorry meant oil pressure sensor, the nova Haynes manual is prob the only one I haven't got for vauxhall! Should really invest in one just wanted abit of quick advise on here just to get it running, I know I should have a plug on the dizzy but its missing and wires have been cut, do they both go to it? Ones red ones black and the other end has a plug that goes to the ignition coil. Thanks for help

Is there any difference between the 3 Haynes manuals I've found?! Ones blue ones green with a nova sr on it and the others green with a normal nova on it? Thanks

The blue one is the best,it has more info than the others.
Can't* beat a good old HBOL!
As for the different colours, one will be a workshop manual, one will be an owners manual or WTF they call them.
Basically the blue one's the clever one....

Hi I'm New to this I have the same Problem as 'novathere'..
But.. with that problem I have another interesting problem that it's making me worry alot.
The problem is that when I turn on the hazard switch it works perfectly, but the indicators don't.
What do you think is the problem? the FLasher Unit Relay is new, do you think that the hazard switch is faulty?
