The partsmeister is coming over again!! New GM bonnets and rear quarters

Guys,

We're coming over again on October 19 and October 20th! :d:d

Our route is from Folkestone to Bristol and from there on via Birmingham to Doncaster. Route on the 20th is from Doncaster via Derby and London (M25) back to Folkestone.

At the moment I have an option on:



10 x New and original GM late MK1 bonnet 80 quid incl delivery to UK
3 x New and original GM MK2 3 door Hatch RH rear quarter, 140 quid incl delivery to UK (all sold)
1 x New and original GM MK1 3 door Saloon RH rear quarter, 140 quid incl delivery to UK (sold)
1 x New and original GM Saloon bootlid, 125 quid incl delivery to UK
2 x New and original GM MK1 3 door Hatch one piece front bumpers, 200 quid incl delivery to UK


All parts are new old stock original GM/Opel.

Only difference I know of is the holes for the rear bumper mounts.

No, the Mk2 holes are handy for plug welding the outer panel to the inner arch. Just need to cut new square holes for the mk1 bumpers

Cheers guys, all RH MK2 rear quarters prov sold now! I'll contact you guys to sort payment and pick-up.

No issues Mazz, just drill the extra holes for the Mk1 bumper and fill the Mk2 holes.

These have a larger cut out for the plastic bonnet stay support. If you 're a purist you don't want that on your early MK1 as they came with the smaller cut our without the plastic bonnet stay support...

That is correct. Opening rear windows were an option on Mk1's. Seen in warmer climates like Spain. Complete rear opening window conversions (including all grommets, rubbers and other gubbins) are like rocking horse poo and fetch silly money. Highly desirable!

Thats the guys off to Doncaster now for the night. Big thanks to Jeffrey & Niek for bringing me more parts over. Had a pleasant surprise when the 2x Spider parts he collected for me from Germany turned out to be a full roof, roof supports, roll over hoop, rear cover, slides, hinges, boot lid and seals etc!!!
Been out for a decent curry tonight so they should have a pleasant odorous drive home tomorrow lol
