Are 288 and 284 brake callipers and carriers the same?

Are 288 and 284 brake callipers and carriers the same?

All so are the pads the same?

I have drilled my 288 discs but one of the holes is very close to two other holes, so im thinking of getting fiat 284s if they will go on with my calliper

i ran re drilled 288 on mine and they were fine

fiat coupe turbo discs on mine with the holes redrilled 1mm larger.
ideally need a spigot ring,but I managed fine using a tie wrap to space it instead lol

Was that with 288 callipers or 284? I think the early ones on the cav are 284.
I was thinking maybe changing two bolts on each wheel to studs on the front, then you can line the disc up easy.

The calipers are different, as are the pads. Discs should fit though as pretty much the same size
