Not sure what section to put this in, but anyway...

I want to convert my mk1 front end to a mk2, what exactly would i need for this parts wise?

Obviously the lights and bumpers are different but what else?
:)

also, i think ive seen a build thread on here that did it, anyone got a link?

Wings, headlights, grilles, bumpers mainly...the bonnets are also different but only aesthetically so not essential to change lol

Sell your car to somebody who appreciates the beauty and superior design of the original Mk1 shape and use the money to purchase the inferior Mk2 you desire ;) lol

yep :) the hatch has box/square rear arches. the saloon/5 door has round rear arches. All have round front arches. the 5 door front wings don't have the swage line though. hth.

Wings
Grill
Headlights
Indicators
Headlight retaining clips
Front panel - the Mk2 one has square holes in for the grill, but you could cut these in
Bumper inc reinforcer and L-brackets - as fitting a Mk1 bumper on a mk2 front end looks gash lol
