Rivets for gsi skirts

Hi guys, can you use normal pot rivets to attach the white clips for gsi side skirts or is it a special type I need??? If so where do I get them from.

try using small galvanised self tapping screws, they won't crack the clips when you tighten them.

Thats what I did. Used screws to fix them to the sill.

Vauxhall designed it so you attached the river to the car first then the plastic clip slides & locks onto the rivet.
I bought some from Vauxhall few months ago so still available.
If your going the proper way I'll dig the part number out if you want it.
