ive have shattered my heel bone into 5 pieces, and im now waiting for major surgery next friday
this happened twelve days ago now and ive been bed bound since

the crew took ten men, three bottles of gas and 250mg of morphine just to get me out of the woods
the local hospital(basildon) first just sent me home in a cast, after three days my toes had gone black and i started passing out in pain, was rushed back to a+e at my local hospital in southend and told that it should never been put in a cast as it swelled up so much inside that if left for another 12 hours i would have lost my foot:eek:

spent another five days in hospital only to be told that its completly ****ed and i need major surgery , basildon hospital has almost cost me my leg!

im now bed bound, in mega pain waiting for a major op:cry:

no more bikes for me!!!

Yes they do. Years ago I did schoolboy motocross. Had an accident, went to a+e just a sprained elbow. Few days later rang my parents demanding I go back in. On a second Opie of the x rays I bad fractured my elbow!! Cue the fitment of a wrist to armpit right angled cast lol

Are Essex nurses covered in spray tan?

Of course the nhs makes mistakes, plenty of them! That's why all hospitals have their own legal staff now to settle claims rather than go to court.

A friend of mine got her lung punctured a few weeks ago getting a nerve block in the shoulder, they discharged her with a collapsed lung. TW@tS.

Chances are on the first x-ray they couldn't see any internal damage other than the smashed bone. Hence the cast.
Just bad luck on that front I reckon.
