Just wondering if there's anyway I can downsize the v6 brakes I have on at te minute.
I'm running v6 calipers with ?? 4 stud discs. Standard pads
Would fitting Corsa b calipers with drilled/grooved disks and red stuff pads be the equivalent?
Reason being I'd like smaller wheels than 15" minimum
Cheers

I have some 16v brakes if you want to swap? They fit under 15s
You can downsize just by fitting smaller ones lol Is it a trick question?
Try some 256x24mm setup with good discs and pads
^ thats what I run on my v6 track car.

Would I be able to run 13 or 14" wheels on that setup?
Put 256s on and brake earlier
You can run 14s with 256s but not 13s

So I could use banded sr steels then?
That's awesome to know that cheers dude my exterior plans look to have changed again lol
256s fit under sr steels :thumb:

Bit far away tbh dude for me to come and swap lol the pads are like new etc I'd sell them for £40 plus post thow?
256 are fine for a road car. And as said, some 14s clear them
Next step down is corsa gsi stuff. 236 vented

What size are v6 brakes? Are cav turbo ones bigger? Is there much in them?
IIRC cav turbos have the 54mm piston calipers, V6s used the 54 and 57mm piston ones. The 54mm ones are physically slightly bigger though I think
