C16 E16 Which do i have

Evening all as above what have I got
registered 16 may 1991 gsi or can someone tell me where to look if there is a marking on the block somewhere cheers folks rich

C16 has a coil pack so no dizzy e16 will have a red cap but should be stamped on the ledge to the rh side of the dipstick where the head meets the block also

Excuse the ignorance but could u tell me difference i have a red cap that the spark plug leads come out of so guessing i have an e16?

I have a coil so e16se . Is one better than the other ? ?
