Oil Sump

Are all petrol engines oil sumps the same?? Need one to suit a 13SB engine.

All the 1300s (sure the 1400 8valvs the same as 1300 8vs) are the same. Pretty sure the 1600s are bigger/taller. the 16xe has an alloy one with better baffling which would fit the 1300 but you may come into bother when you fit the 1300 exhaust. Im not sure if the 14xe and 16xe are the same. I know there are differances between baby xe sumps but not sure where or when they differ, however they all fit the same block.

i think the 1200 carb sump is also the same
