First project and its a saloon!

I bought this car a few weeks ago as i do love the saloons.
Its a bit of a heap at the moment needs a fair bit of work. plans are keep it fairly original and stick a big engine in it.

stripped the front to see how good it was only a few bad spots will get better pics soon

I cant decide if to keep it red or change but i have no idea what colour any suggestions?

right small update i picked up an engine a few weeks ago the history of it was unknown so managed to get it cheap. stripped it all down it had water in the bores so bit rusty in them but i will be honing them out. other than that every thing looks as it should.
