N.E.R.C. Classic Car Meet

Today was a local meet at the North East Restoration Club.
I tagged along with the Durham RSOC for a look, seeing as it's on the doorstep.

This is the first time I have had a look in the place, I often drive past, but it is a bit like Wonka's chocolate factory as far as access goes.

It was a decent turnout. I took a few pics, not something I usually do but there was quite a varied selection of vehicles on show, plus the workshops, so it seemed worthwhile.

They are only taken on my phone, with the screen brightness on it's ****, so don't expect much. :thumb:

My mate machine polished my car on Saturday. It has a much deeper gloss to it now, and previous buffer trails and surface scuffs etc have gone now.

The layout of the bays is so **** about tit. Can just imagine someone hacking off a rear quarter, with sparks flying all over next doors motor, complete with glass.

FWL 396 Austin 7 could have been the guy I know (Harry) as his was up there getting restored, part of/or the whole roof was made of wood and one of the pillars needed sorting, I haven't seen him for ages (since I moved to Coxhoe) so cant confirm but it does look like his.

Harry's son (Barry) used to have a Midas kit car, it looked different to that at the rear though I think (I was in primary school at the time) and we used to deliver eggs in it.
