Hi there,
Not sure where to start so here goes nothing:p

I bought this car in March 2013 and was told it was mint. Cosmetically she looked great. However she came with no service history or record of any work being ever done and sounded like a bag of bolts in the washing machine !!
I bought her regardless as nostalgia kicked in and I transformed into a 17year old boy again.
Got her home and found an awful problem. Usual nova issues. Rot !!! I noticed that the roof was creased slightly on both sides which was a sure indication of flex. Rubbed away all the under seal to discover two massive cracks where the rear axle tied in. Started to cut back and the saga begun.
Over the last few months I have replaced the complete floor from the front seats back, reinstating the chassis legs with now thicker braced box section. New arches all round, new filler neck outside and in. Laser tracked the back end before I seam welded the legs for perfect trueness. Doing this pulled the car in tight and the crinkles on the roof have disappeared!!! Replaced the rear brake shoes at this point.
On the front end, there was already two repair plates done to the top of the arches so I rubbed back and re plated the underside of this for peace of mind.
Next saga..... The engine !!! It was running lumpy as hell so I gave her a complete top end rebuild. Replaced the water pump, timing belt, shims and gaskets. Now she starts off the button and drives well. I proceeded to increase the boost on her for that added oomph. As standard they run 0.68 bar and the over boost relief valve pops at 1bar. Lame. I blanked off the relief valve and with the aid of a boost controller, screwed her up to a comfortable 1.4 bar. Removed e white ring and the dimple from the top hat on the fuel injection pump for a larger gulp of diesel on boost. For an Isuzu engine that is nothing. I can return to standard if required.
I carried out an HPI on the car and found her to have had a colour change at some point in her life which is not uncommon. I myself have chosen Cadburys purple to re spray her in. Never been smashed or stolen or clocked which is very rare.

She is in very good condition with only minor things to make perfect. Only covered 79580 miles. Has brand new coil overs on the front, dropped 80mm and rear springs dropping 80mm. She is fitted with the GSI complete interior. Has Standard diesel clocks . SR steering wheel and looks a million times better in the flesh.

She has a full years MOT and taxed till the end of January. 4 brand new tyres were fitted for mot last week. Toyos on the front and budgets on the rear. Fresh coolant and service completed including diesel filter.

I have a million pictures of all the work done. If you would like me to, pop me your email address over and I will send you what you require :-)

I urge anyone interested to come and have a look. I have the facilities to pop her up in the air if you are genuine and I make a good cup of tea as well.

I'm only selling her as my heart is not in it any more :-( just want to buy a car and drive It. I might be interested in a swap for something interesting but cash would be preferred.

Bad bits now : Horn packed in again. So I will be wiring in a separate loom for this this week with a push button instead of the horn on the steering wheel. The alternator is overcharging slightly now. 14.10v at idle off load. As a result of this the rev counter has stopped working. Looking closely at this, the board on the back of the alternator is serviceable and I'm 99% sure that this can be replaced without having to swap the alt out. I'm gonna raise the front suspension 10mm as when ur deep in a bend the tyres catch the rim slightly( not major ).

I've been totally honest with the car and description on here.

PLEASE GET IN TOUCH FOR PHOTOS AS SHE LOOKS A MILLION DOLLARS AND ALL I WOULD LIKE IS 1500 :thumb:;)

Ordered a new super sprint exhaust today for her. That won't reflect on the price. The old centre section was tatty and needed swapped out. :-)
