Soda blasting

Am looking to get my nova shell took back to bare metal and been told by a few people that soda blasting would be the best option would they be correct or is there any other way and would it damage the shell in anyway

Soda is the kindest media for blasting panels. It should not warp panels but I would think it be down to the person doing the blasting as well as the media.
Sand etc causes friction which wsrps the panels so needs to be avoided.
One process I would definately not recommend is acid dipping due to a bad experience myself.
